I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. I am a certified teacher and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.), license #10008912.
I spent more than 12 years teaching in elementary schools before becoming a high school guidance counsellor for just over one year. For the past four years, I have been working as a counsellor in private practice and for the past two and a half years I have worked as a counsellor in a post-secondary setting.
I believe in a strengths-based approach, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. My goal is to offer support, direction, and genuine validation as you discover and build your own inner strengths. Together, we will create goals that matter to you and explore tools that can help you grow in self-awareness, confidence, and resilience.
I work with children ages 5 and up, adolescents/ teens, and adults.
I specialize in symptoms of anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, OCD, self-regulation, ADHD, self-esteem, self-compassion, identity, school organizational skills, and building daily routines.
